Cataracts

Cataracts are Kapha clouding the lens, dense Shleshaka dimming sight. Triphala ghee netra basti, Saptamrit Lauh, and Punarnava clear film and lift opacity.

Cellulite

Confusion

A state of mental disorientation arising from unhealthy or ama-laden majja dhatu.

Congenital Anomalies

Birth defects such as cleft palate, atrial septal defect, or ventricle septal defect attributed in Ayurveda to depleted ojas in the fertilized ovum.

Conjunctivitis

Conjunctivitis is Pitta inflaming Alochaka in the eyes: red, burning, photophobic, weeping. Triphala eyewash cools it, rose water soothes, ghee calms the heat within.

Constipation

Not all constipation is the same. Ayurveda sees three patterns of stalled bowel flow; find yours and match the right herbs, diet, and daily rhythm to it.

Dental Abscess

This is an inflammation in the muscles around the teeth. It is caused by excess Kapha and blood in thatarea. Therapies: Herbs include turmeric, small carda- mom, chestnuts, kayaphal. The best herb is badradanti.

Depleted Ojas

Serious loss and wasting of ojas in both quality and quantity, leading to immune collapse, unconsciousness, or coma.

Depleted Prana

A decrease in prana caused by tikshna dhatu agni (pitta or vata); when ojas is weak it hinders tejas, leading to toxins that block prana flow.

Depleted Tejas

A decrease in tejas caused by manda dhatu agni (kapha), resulting in kapha problems.

Depression

Mental condition linked to inferior quality meda molecules that inhibit serotonin secretion

Diabetes

Diabetes is Prameha, Kapha and Ama drowning a sluggish Agni. Ayurveda's fix: Gudmar to blunt sugar cravings, Turmeric and Amla daily, bitter greens to rekindle the fire.

Diarrhea

Diarrhea is Atisara, weak Agni flooding Apana Vayu with watery stool. Pitta-type needs Kutaja bark and Bilva; pomegranate rind and buttermilk with cumin rebuild absorption.

Grahani is digestive fire collapsed at the small-intestine valve, alternating loose stools and constipation. Kutaja bark, Bilva, and buttermilk with Hingvashtak rebuild Agni.
