Dosha Involvement: Vata, Kapha
Ayurvedic Therapies: Purgation, massage, medicated enema (niruha), neem paste applied externally to the swelling. Rec- ommended herbs to be taken internally include neem , turmeric, manjissh ha, and guggul. For all swellings caused by Kapha, the swellings should be cut and cleansed first.
