Accumulated repressed emotion in the connective tissue that burns ojas and weakens immunity.

Repressed Emotion and Ojas

When pithara agni is too low to process an emotion, it instructs pilu agni to reject it, throwing the subconscious material back into the connective tissue. This repressed emotion accumulated in the connective tissue is called stress.

Stress burns ojas and directly affects immunity. The subconscious mind is described as a self-created repository where we dump unwanted material into the intercellular space of connective tissue. Strengthening pithara agni through awareness, meditation, and panchakarma therapies helps release this accumulated stress.
