Asthayi Dhatu Dushti

Entry of a dosha into immature tissue causing qualitative disturbance and acute disorders.

Definition

Asthayi dhatu dushti is the entry of a dosha into immature, unstable tissue causing qualitative disturbance. It generally produces acute disorders, in contrast to sthayi dhatu dushti, which produces chronic disease.
