The stable, fully formed tissue that has completed its nourishment cycle and performs its physiological function in the body.
Definition
Sthayi dhatu is the mature, stable form of a bodily tissue that has completed its transformation cycle and is performing its physiological role in the body. Each of the seven dhatus has both a sthayi (mature) and asthayi (immature) form.
