Overview
Polygonum is one of the herbs traditionally used in Ayurveda for parasites and worms. Polygonum plebejum is found across India at up to 5000 feet. It is a small prostrate herb with tiny pink flowers. The whole plant is used. It is used for worm infestations and urinary complaints. It is commonly found on wastelands and paths. Dose: 2-4 tola. Verse: mentioned in the guduchyadi section.
