Yogurt

Yogurt is a Kapha-producing food that should not be eaten at night. When churned with water after meals, it supports the digestive fire. The proportion of yogurt to water should be adjusted based on digestive strength: those with weak digestion should use non-fat yogurt in a 1:4 ratio, while those with strong digestion may use normal yogurt up to 1:1.

Anyone allergic to dairy should avoid yogurt. Some ancient authorities advise against consuming any dairy at a meal where flesh is eaten.
