The Five Motor Faculties
The five karmendriya (motor faculties) are the pathways of action formed alongside the sensory faculties from the interaction of sattva and rajas as part of the organic universe. They are: speech, grasping, walking, procreation, and elimination. Together with the jnanendriya and manas, they constitute the organic aspect of Sankhya's creation model.
