Tugadi Choorna — Overview
Tugadi Choorna is a sweet-sour cooling powder made from equal parts of Tuga (Tavakshiri/bamboo manna), Tintrini (tamarind), Laja (parched paddy), Kola (jujube), Trikatu, Trijataka and Karpura (camphor), with sugar in double the total quantity.
Indications include loss of appetite (Aruchi), vomiting (Chardi), bleeding disorders (Asrikpitta), heart disease (Hridroga), cough (Kasa), wasting (Kshaya) and fever (Jwara).
