A pill prepared from Sudha Kanda, three salts, Vartaka, Arka moola and Chitraka pounded with Vartaka juice, used for digestive stimulation, respiratory, hemorrhoidal and cardiac conditions.

Sudha Kandadi Kshara (II) — Overview

Sudha Kandadi Kshara [II] is a pill formulation prepared by Antardhooma Bhasmification of Sudha Kanda (4 pala), Lavana Traya (1 pala each), Vartaka (4 pala), Arka moola (8 pala) and Chitraka (2 pala). The resulting bhasma is pounded with Vartaka Swarasa and rolled into pills.

The pills are taken after meals and indicated for Deepana (digestive stimulation), Swasa (asthma), Kasa (cough), Arshas (hemorrhoids), Visuchika (cholera-like acute gastroenteritis), Pratisyaya (common cold/rhinitis) and Hridroga (heart disease).
