Sannipatantaka Gutika

A pill formulation with Triphala, sulfur, Trikatu, mercury, and cumin pounded with lemon juice, used for Sannipata (complex tridoshic fever).

Sannipatantaka Gutika — Overview

Sannipatantaka Gutika — literally "the ender of Sannipata" — contains Triphala, Gandhaka, Vyosha (Trikatu), Parada, and Krishna Jeeraka. The drugs are pounded with Naranga (Jambeera) Swarasa and rolled into pills of one Gunja size.

It is administered internally with honey or Kutaja Phanita and is indicated for Sannipata — severe complex tridoshic fever states, particularly with mixed Pitta-Kapha predominance.
