Puvankuruntaladi Eranda Taila — Overview
Puvankuruntaladi Eranda Taila is a castor oil-based Parisishta Taila. The kalka includes Balaka, Mustha, Patha, Kutaja, Parpata, Dadima, Devadaru, Yashtimadhu, Jeeraka, Nimba, Javitri, Jatiphala, Lavanga, Khurasani Ajawayan, Ativisha, Aswagandha, Bala, Bharangi, Hingu, Katuka Rohini, Nirvishi and Garuda Paccha (1 tola each). Eranda Taila is the base, and fresh juices of Sahadevi, Palambasi, Jambu patra, Bhringaraja, Kanphoda, Vasa, Nagavalli, Ajamoda, Vishnukrantha, Sarshapa patra, Amra Pallava, Mandookaparni, Brahmi, Krishna Tulasi and Lasuna form the liquid phase.
It is taken internally at a dose of 4 tola in the morning and evening. Indications include Swasa (asthma), Jwara (fever), Bhrama (vertigo), Mutraghata (urinary retention), Vibandha (constipation) and Udara Vrana (abdominal ulcers).
