Mritasanjivani Gutika — Overview
Mritasanjivani Gutika — literally the pill that revives the dead — is a revival formulation containing an extensive list of ingredients including Yashti, Chandana, Rudraksha, Mriga sringa (deer horn), Vacha, Rasanjana, Arkaraga, Jeeraka, Ela, Gorochana, Sital chini, Karpura, Japatri, Jatiphala, various horn preparations, Gunja, Pravala, Mukta, peacock feather eye, Roupya (silver), Swarna (gold), Triphala, Swarna Gairika, Trikatu, and Kasturi (musk) in equal parts, with Sankhini, Krishna Jeeraka, and Ambaru in 2 parts each, and earthworms (Bhunaga) as 1/8 part of the total.
The ingredients are pounded with Nari Kshira (breast milk) to form pills. It is considered a powerful restorative formulation.
