Lakshadi Taila — Overview

Lakshadi Taila is a Laksha-based medicated oil with a Kalka of Ashwagandha, Haridra, Devadaru, Renuka, Kushta, Mustha, Chandana, Murva, Katukarohini, Rasna, Satahwa and Madhuka, processed with Laksha decoction and Dadhi masthu.

Used as Abhyanga, it is indicated for chronic fever, wasting, psychosis, asthma and epilepsy, as well as spirit afflictions (Bhutabadha) and is considered Garbhini hitakara (beneficial for pregnant women).
