An Antardhooma Bhasma of Trikatu, three salts, Triphala, Danti, Bhallataka and Chitraka processed with castor oil and cow's urine, taken with ghee for constipation, hemorrhoids, abdominal disorders and urinary obstruction.
Kalyana Kshara — Overview
Kalyana Kshara is an Antardhooma Bhasma prepared from Trikatu, three salts (Bida, Saindhava and Kachalavana), Triphala, Danti, Bhallataka and Chitraka (one part each), processed with 8 parts Eranda Taila (castor oil) and 16 parts Gomutra (cow's urine). It is administered internally with ghee, and unctuous food is prescribed during treatment.
Its wide therapeutic range includes Udavarta (upward movement of Vata), Vibandha (constipation), Arshas (hemorrhoids), Gulma, Pandu, Udara, Krimi (worms), Mutrasanga (urinary retention), Ashmari (stones), Sopha (swelling), Hridroga, Grahani, Meha, Plecha, Anaha, Swasa and Kasa.
