Kacchuradi Choorna (Brihat) — Overview

Kacchuradi Choorna (Brihat) is a large polyherbal preparation containing Kacchura, Amalaki, Manjishta, Yashtimadhu, Devadaru, Sweta and Rakta Chandana, Godanti, Gairika, Hingu, Katukarohini, Krishna Jeeraka, Rasna, tamarind leaf veins, Sariba, Kumkuma, Sarjarasa, Karpura, Mustha, Bala moola, Laja, Renuka, Hribera, Usira, Kushta, Ahiphena and Jatiphala, all in equal parts.

It is applied externally over the scalp after pounding with breast milk, and is used for vata-pittaja head disorders (Siroroga), fever (Jwara, Sannipata Jwara), mental confusion (Matibhrama), hiccup, eye diseases, chronic rhinitis (Pinasa) and ear diseases.
