A medicated oil applied externally to the head and mouth (Siro Abhyanga and Gandusha) for disorders of the head and toothache.

Jati Manyaladi Taila — Overview

Jati Manyaladi Taila is a medicated oil from the Sahasrayoga Parisishta (supplementary) section. It is prepared with a paste (kalka) of Kottam (Kushta), Vatari (Eranda), Trikatu, Triphala and Ela, with Tila Taila as the base oil and the juices of Jatipatra, Haridra, Ardraka, Nimba patra, Lajjalu and Nagavalli as the liquid phase.

It is administered externally as Siro Abhyanga (head massage) and Gandusha (oil holding in the mouth). It is indicated in Siroroga (disorders of the head) and Danta Soola (toothache).
