Chukkum Tippalyadi Gutika — Overview

Chukkum Tippalyadi Gutika is a complex multi-ingredient pill formulation combining plant, animal, and mineral drugs: Sunthi (Chukkum), Pippali (Tippali), Musambara, Mriga sringa (deer horn), Vacha, Jeeraka, Rudraksha, Kiratatikta, Kundurushka, Malla (Pashana), aged Maricha, Karpura, Gandhamarjala virya, Manahshila, and Tuttham.

The drugs are taken in equal quantity and pounded with Stanya (breast milk), Indralatha Swarasa, or Ajaji rasa/kashaya to form pills. It is specifically indicated for Sannipata Jwara — complex fevers involving simultaneous derangement of all three doshas.
