Aswagandhadi Choorna — Overview
Aswagandhadi Choorna follows a doubling-proportion recipe: Bhringaraja (1 part), Nagakesara (2 parts), Ela (4 parts), Maricha (8 parts), Pippali (16 parts), Sunthi (32 parts) and Aswagandha (64 parts), with sugar equal to all combined.
This rejuvenating tonic is indicated for an exceptionally wide range of conditions: phlegm disorders, parasites, vata disorders, anemia, abdominal tumors, wasting (Kshaya), hemorrhoids, indigestion, pain, cough, flank pain, heart disease, postpartum disorders, urinary disorders, asthma, hiccup and fever.
