Anandabhairava Gutika

A pill formulation with Tankana, Hingu, Vatsanabhi, and pungent herbs pounded with lemon juice for Sannipata Jwara (complex fever).

Anandabhairava Gutika — Overview

Anandabhairava Gutika combines Tankana (Ponkaram), Hingu (Kayayum), Vatsanabhi (Nabhi), Maricha (Mulagam), and Pippali (Tippali) in equal parts. The drugs are pounded with Naranga (Jambeera / lemon) Swarasa and rolled into pills of one Gunja size, administered internally with Jambeera Swarasa.

It is indicated for Sannipata Jwara — complex tridoshic fever. The text notes that Sarangadhara's version suggests Hingula in place of Hingu, reflecting textual variation between classical sources.
