Channel Root

The originating site or root organ of a bodily channel from which it begins its course.

Definition

Sroto mula is the origin or root of a bodily channel — the source organ from which the channel begins. Treatment of channel disorders often focuses on the sroto mula because its dysfunction affects the entire pathway.
