Nadi

Literally a river or channel; the innumerable subtle and gross passageways that carry substances and energy throughout the body, including the pulse.

Definition

Nadi literally means river or channel. The body is said to contain innumerable nadis, ranging from gross blood vessels and nerves to extremely subtle energy pathways, all carrying substances and intelligence into, out of, and throughout the body. The radial pulse is also called nadi.
