Overview
Tree Cotton / Upland Cotton / Kaparpathri is one of the herbs traditionally used in Ayurveda for male sexual health. Gossypium arboreum is the tree cotton variety described as having similar properties to G. herbaceum but growing taller (8-10 feet). The seeds and root bark are used similarly. One cotton boll produces fibers 4-5 inches long. The tree cotton variety is more commonly found in Indian gardens and fields.
