Vriddhihara Kashaya — Overview
Vriddhihara Kashaya is indicated in Vriddhi (hernia, scrotal enlargement) and related abdominal disorders. The first formula combines garlic, Barbura, Kakadani, Haritaki, Hapusha, Kuberaksha, Chitraka, Pippali, Sunthi, Punarnava, Murva, and Sigru — for Vriddhi and abdominal disorders (Udara).
The second formula uses garlic, castor, Kuberaksha, Rakta Punarnava, Hapusha, and Sunthi, administered with Hingu (asafoetida), for intestinal hernia (Antravriddhi), Gulma, Anaha (distension), and Udara.
