Vranaropana Taila

Wound-healing oil made with beeswax, Snuhi latex, and Arka latex in a sesame oil base, used for chronic non-healing wounds.

Vranaropana Taila — Overview

Vranaropana Taila, literally "wound-healing oil," is prepared with 16 tola of beeswax (Madhuchishta), one prastha each of sesame oil, Snuhi latex, and Arka latex. The combination of beeswax and caustic latex provides strong cleansing and granulating action, making the oil effective in Dushta Vrana — chronic, infected, non-healing wounds and ulcers.
