A decoction prepared with cooling herbs to treat Visphota (blistering eruptions) with intense burning sensation.
Visphotahara Kashaya — Overview
Visphotahara Kashaya is a cooling decoction prepared for Visphota — blistering skin eruptions accompanied by severe burning sensation (Teevra Vidaha). The formulation uses Chandana, Parpataka, Guduchi, Usira, Mustha, Hribera, Dhanyaka and Pushkaramoola.
Each of these herbs is known for its sheetavirya (cold potency) and pitta-pacifying action, making the decoction particularly suited to inflammatory blistering disorders.
