Virechana Gutika — Overview
Virechana Gutika is a purgative pill formulation that produces proper, controlled evacuation (Samyak Virechaka). It contains Trikatu, Triphala, Jatamamsi, Krishna Jeeraka (black cumin), Katukarohini, Trivrit, and Vidanga in equal parts, with Jaipala seeds equal to the total, pounded with Triphala decoction.
It is administered internally with jaggery, warm water, or fresh ginger juice to facilitate therapeutic purgation.
