Vidangadi Kshara
An Antardhooma Bhasma prepared from Vidanga, Chitraka, Yava Saktu, Trivrit, Saindhava and Vacha, administered with milk for abdominal tumors and splenic disorders.
Vidangadi Kshara — Overview
Vidangadi Kshara is a classical Antardhooma Bhasma preparation from the Choorna Prakarana of Sahasra Yoga. It is made by taking Vidanga, Chitraka, Yava Saktu, Trivrit, Saindhava and Vacha in equal parts and calcining them in a closed-crucible method.
The resulting bhasma is administered internally with milk as the vehicle. It is traditionally indicated for Gulma (abdominal tumors or gaseous distension) and Pleeha (splenic enlargement and related disorders).
