A complex decoction with Vidanga root, Apamarga, Palasa, Sunthi, Garlic and other herbs administered with Hingu and Pippali for severe abdominal pain.

Vidalin Veradi Kashaya — Overview

Vidalin Veradi Kashaya is a more elaborate anti-colic formulation indicated for Soola. The decoction contains Vidanga root, Apamarga root, Palasa, Sunthi, Lasuna (garlic), Kulattha, Bilwa, Agnimandha, Prisniparni, Eranda root, Ajamoda, Tila and Sphotyabhujangam.

It is given internally with Hingu, Pippali, Saindhava lavana and Yavakshara — a classical combination of carminatives and alkalines that break up gas, relieve cramping and restore digestive motility.
