Vata-Kapha Jwarahara Kashaya

A decoction for fever with combined vata and kapha involvement, prepared from Parpataka, Mustha, Devadaru, Bharangi, Pippali, Sunthi and Dhanvayavasa.

Vata-Kapha Jwarahara Kashaya — Overview

Vata-Kapha Jwarahara Kashaya is a classical Ayurvedic decoction indicated for fever (Jwara) arising from combined vata and kapha imbalance. It is prepared from Parpataka, Mustha (Abda), Devadaru (Suradruma), Bharangi, Pippali (Magadhika), Sunthi (Oushadha) and Dhanvayavasa.

The blend targets the fever pattern where both cold, heavy kapha features and the restless, achy qualities of vata dominate, making it useful for intermittent and sluggish febrile illnesses.
