Varunadi Ghrita
Medicated ghee processed with Varuna and castor-based decoction, indicated for all types of hernia (Vriddhi), abdominal disorders, and abdominal tumors (Gulma).
Varunadi Ghrita — Overview
Varunadi Ghrita is prepared with ghee and castor oil in equal parts and a rich Kalka of Pippali trio, rock salt, Jeeraka, Hingu, Bala, Jatamamsi, Maricha, Chavya, Devadaru and Ajamoda. The liquid decoction is drawn from Varuna, Eranda moola, Bala, Indralatha, Abhaya, Hapusha, Kuberaksha, Chitraka, Pippali, Sunthi, Kulattha, Lasuna and Devadaru.
Its indications are all types of Vriddhi (hernia), Udara roga (abdominal disorders) and Gulma (abdominal tumors), directly targeting deep-seated Vata disorders of the abdomen and groin.
