Varahyadi Ghrita — Overview

Varahyadi Ghrita is prepared as Varahikanda Siddha Ghrita — medicated ghee processed with Varahikanda (wild yam). It is traditionally taken along with Draksha, Masha (black gram), Ashwagandha, Kadaliphala (banana) and Vamsalochana as supportive anupanas.

It is indicated in Sarva Streeroga (all gynecological disorders of women) and Asthi roga (bone diseases).
