Trivrit Kulambu

A simple purgative lehya prepared from Trivrit decoction, ghee and sugar, used for purgation, jaundice and edema.

Trivrit Kulambu — Overview

Trivrit Kulambu is a simple purgative electuary made by decocting sixteen pala of Trivrit in sixteen serlu of water reduced to one-fourth, then combining with half a seru of ghee and four pala of sugar to form a lehya.

It is indicated as a purgative (virechaka) and for jaundice and edema.
