Tengin Pukkuladi Ghrita — Overview
Tengin Pukkuladi Ghrita is a Kerala-tradition medicated ghee named after its key ingredient, Tengin Pukkul — the tender flower cluster of the coconut palm. The paste contains cooling and nourishing drugs like Gokshura, Draksha, Chandana, Ela, Sitopala, Shilajatu, Yashtimadhu, and Mudga.
The liquid medium is a four-fold concentrated decoction of tender coconut flowers, Modaka bark, Vasa, Japa root, Udumbara bark, Guduchi, Satavari, and Yashtimadhu, along with cow's milk. It is indicated for Rakta Srava — abnormal bleeding and hemorrhagic disorders.
