Talisapatradi Churna
A well-known digestive and respiratory powder used for cough, asthma, anorexia, vomiting, spleen disorders, and chest pain.
Talisapatradi Choorna — Overview
Talisapatradi Choorna is one of the most widely used classical Ayurvedic powders. It combines Talisapatra (1 part), Maricha (2), Sunthi (3), Pippali (4), Vamsalochana (5), Twak (½), Ela (½), and Sarkara (32 parts).
Acting as Ruchya (appetizer) and Deepana (digestive stimulant), it is indicated for cough, asthma, anorexia, vomiting, splenomegaly, chest pain, and flank pain. The graded proportions of pungent and aromatic drugs with a sweet base make it palatable and suitable for long-term use.
