Sutikantaknasani Gutika — Overview
Sutikantaknasani Gutika is a postpartum pill formulation containing Parada, Gandhaka, Abhraka Bhasma, Tamra Bhasma, and Tutthaka in equal parts. The ingredients are pounded with Mandookaparni juice and dried in shade to form peanut-sized pills, administered internally with Maricha (pepper).
It is indicated in fever (Jwara), excessive thirst (Trishna), loss of appetite (Aruchi), edema (Sodha), postpartum disorders (Sutika roga), and it kindles digestive fire.
