Suryaprabha Gutika — Overview
Suryaprabha Gutika is a mercurial-mineral pill formulation containing equal parts of Parada (Suta), Gandhaka, Hingu (Ramatha), Triphala (Vara), Trikatu (Katu), and Yavani, with Vatsanabhi (Visha) added at 1/16th of the total.
The drugs are pounded with Jambeera Swarasa (lemon juice) and formed into pills of 1 Gunja size. It is indicated for a broad range of conditions including Soola (pain), Kasa (cough), Swasa (asthma), and Jwara (fever).
