Sopha Chukkuchundadi Kashaya
A decoction of Sunthi, Bhunimba, Apamarga, Yavasa and Punarnava root used for swelling and constipation.
Sopha Chukkuchundadi Kashaya — Overview
Sopha Chukkuchundadi Kashaya is prescribed for Sopha (swelling/edema) and Vibandha (constipation). The decoction contains Sunthi, Bhunimba, Apamarga and Yavasa (1.5 kalanchu each) with Punarnava root (1 pala).
Punarnava drives the diuretic action while the other herbs stimulate agni and clear kapha, reducing both edema and sluggish bowels.
