Seeta Nagankusha Rasa — Overview

Seeta Nagankusha Rasa is a mineral pill preparation indicated for Seeta Jwara (cold fever). It is composed of Suddha Akhu (Mushika) Pashana and Karpura in equal parts.

The ingredients are pounded with Karavella Swarasa for one yama and rolled into pills the size of a large mustard seed (Sarshapa bija). The pills are administered internally with buttermilk. During treatment, a light diet taken with buttermilk (Takrayukta Laghu Bhojana) is advised.
