A Satavari-based jaggery preparation used for urinary disorders, diabetes, bleeding disorders, and gynecological conditions.

Satavari Guda — Overview

Satavari Guda is a classical jaggery-based preparation from the Sahasrayogam, made by cooking Satavari juice with jaggery and ghee, then adding fine powders of Sunthi, Ela, Musali, Patha, Gokshura, Sariba, Usira, Bhumyamalaki, Vidari, Pippali, Yashtimadhu, Shilajatu, Vamsalochana and sugar.

It is administered internally early in the morning for seven days and is indicated in Sarva Mutrakricchra (all types of urinary difficulty), twenty varieties of Prameha (diabetic/urinary disorders), Raktapitta (bleeding disorders), Kamala (jaundice), Halimaka, Kshata-Kshaya (wasting from injury), Pada Daha (burning feet), Yonidosha and Rajodosha (gynecological and menstrual disorders), Asthi Srava, Asrigdara (menorrhagia) and Vata-Pittaja disorders.
