Sarvarogakulantaka Rasa — Overview

Sarvarogakulantaka Rasa (literally the "destroyer of the family of all diseases") is a mercurial pill used in a broad range of serious conditions including tuberculosis (Rajayakshma), Vata disorders (Vataroga, Mahavata), asthma, fever, weak digestion (Mandagni), and tridoshic imbalance (Sannipata). It contains Amritam (Vatsanabhi, 1 part), Kana (Pippali, 1 part), and Hingula (2 parts).

The ingredients are pounded with Jambeera Swarasa and formed into pills the size of one Masha. The pills are administered internally with cold water (Sitalodaka) or fresh ginger juice.
