Rogatrayari Rasa

A mercurial formulation for all types of fever, processed sequentially with six herbal juices.

Rogatrayari Rasa — Overview

Rogatrayari Rasa is a classical mercurial pill used for all types of fever (Sarva Jwara). It contains Suddha Paradam, Suddha Amritam (Vatsanabhi), Suddha Gandham, Vara (Triphala), and Vyosha (Trikatu) in equal parts.

The drugs are pounded separately three times each with six different herbal juices: Jwalamukhi (Langali), Surana, Chitraka, Ardraka (ginger), Sigru, and Punarnava swarasas. The pills are formed the size of one Gunja. In new fever (Nava Jwara), they are administered with Ardraka Swarasa, and in the thirteen types of Sannipata Jwara, with Kirata (Chirayata) and Maricha Swarasa.
