Rasna Sunthyadi Kashaya — Overview

Rasna Sunthyadi Kashaya is a large compound decoction headed by Rasna and Sunthi and containing Guduchi, Sahachara, Mustha, Satavari, Haritaki, Satahwa, Katuki, Kachora, Vasa, Eranda moola and both Brihat and Laghu Panchamoola.

It is indicated in a wide spectrum of Vata-dominant conditions including hernia (Antra Vriddhi), fever, stiff neck (Manyasthambha), low-back pain (Kati Pida), joint pain (Sandhi Pida), diabetic carbuncles (Prameha Pitika) and generalized Vata disorders affecting the whole body.
