Ramabana Rasa [iv] — Overview
Ramabana Rasa (fourth variant) is a classical mercurial pill preparation indicated for Sarva Seeta Jwara, meaning all types of cold-natured fevers. It is prepared with Rasaka (2 parts), Gowri Pashana (1 part), and Dhattura bija (½ part).
The ingredients are pounded together with the juice of Dhattura leaves (Dhattura patra swarasa) and rolled into pills the size of one Masha. The pills are administered internally with jaggery (Guda) as the vehicle (anupana).
