Ramabana Gutika
Also called Navajwara Nivarini, a pill with Jatiphala, sulfur, Hingu, and Jaipala used specifically for new-onset fever (Navajwara).
Ramabana Gutika — Overview
Ramabana Gutika, also called Navajwara Nivarini, is a fever-specific pill containing Jatiphala (1 part), Amalasara Gandhaka (2 parts), Ramatha/Hingu (3 parts), and Jaipala (4 parts — purified croton seed).
The drugs are pounded with Ardraka Swarasa for three days and rolled into pills of a Chana (chickpea) size. It is specifically indicated for Navajwara — new-onset or fresh fever, where the powerful purgative action of Jaipala helps eliminate toxins rapidly.
