Raktapitta Hara Gana — Overview
Raktapitta Hara Gana is not a single decoction but a named group (gana) of herbs collectively indicated for bleeding disorders. The group includes Jatamamsi, Chandana, Lodhra, Dhataki, Vasa, Usira, Mustha, Mocha, Utpala, Amrasthi, Rasanjana, Dadima, Hribera, Manjishta, Ela, Sita, Kutaja, Patha, Jambu, Madhooka, Pankaja, Parpataka and Nagakesara.
These drugs form a reference class from which Raktapitta-hara decoctions, powders and other preparations can be composed.
