Rajavirechana Gutika — Overview
Rajavirechana Gutika is a powerful purgative pill formulation considered in classical texts to be the supreme virechana (purgation) preparation. The pills are made from Trikatu (three pungents), Triphala (three fruits), Parada (mercury), Gandhaka (sulphur), Gouri Pashana, and Tankana (borax) in equal parts, combined with Jaipala (croton) seeds equal to the total of all other ingredients.
It is used for cleansing purgation in conditions where strong evacuation is needed.
