Punarnavadi Ghrita

A medicated ghee prepared with Punarnava, Dasamoola and Lasuna used for colic, abdominal tumors and abdominal disorders.

Punarnavadi Ghrita — Overview

Punarnavadi Ghrita is a substantial preparation using a kalka of Pippali, Pippali root, Saindhava, Yashtimadhu, Draksha, Yavani and Sunthi (or alternately Hingwadi Choorna). The liquid phase combines Punarnava, Gajapippali, Dasamoola, Lasuna and milk.

Cow's ghee and castor oil together form the sneha. It is indicated for colic (Soola), abdominal tumors (Gulma) and abdominal disorders (Udara).
