Prasarini Taila — Overview
Prasarini Taila is prepared with a Kalka of Meda, Mahameda, Satapushpa, Manjishta, Kushta, Rasna, Kuchandana, Jivaka, Rishabhaka, Kakoli, Kshira Kakoli, and Devadaru in one prastha of sesame oil, with one Tulaa of Prasarini decoction and one prastha of cow's milk as the liquid vehicles.
This oil is a potent Vata-pacifier indicated in Sarva Vataroga — all varieties of neurological and joint disorders, including stiffness, contractures, and paralytic conditions. It is used primarily for external application and massage.
