Patha Karanjadi Ghrita (ii) — Overview
Patha Karanjadi Ghrita (ii) is the second variant of Patha Karanjadi Ghrita, emphasizing digestive kindling. The Kalka Dravya contains Saindhava, Panchakola, Ativisha, Sarjakshara, Yavakshara, Hingu, Jeeraka, Krishna Jeeraka and Ajamoda (half pala each). Goghrita serves as the Sneha base.
The Drava component is a Kashaya of Patha, Chavya, Karanja yugma (Karanja and Puti Karanja), Sarapunkha, Chitraka, Mustha and Sunthi, along with Aja dadhi (goat's curd), Ardraka Swarasa and Changeri Swarasa. Its actions include Agni Deepaka (digestive stimulant), making it useful for Gulma (abdominal tumor) and Grahani (malabsorption / IBS-like conditions).
